Wait...you can download your old Xanga blogs? Did you use the Wayback Machine for that? I didn't use Xanga very long, but it was around this same time frame, 2005-2006.

Reading these made me smile. Remember when life was as simple as having to decide if you wanted to paint your nails or go on the trampoline??

I had a cell phone around this time that I just shared with my brother, but I never really wanted to use it anyway. Hard to imagine now. Of course I was an anomaly even back then, because I was in high school and everyone I knew had a cell phone. I just didn't see what the big deal was lol.

You can! It's a bit of a technical process (and I was able to do it) but you have to remember you username and password.

I just saw a meme that said "our love language is what we didn't receive as a child" and someone said "trampoline" hahahahha

I would give anything to see my old Xanga 💔 funny how this got us in the habit of sharing the highlight reel…! Such a simpler time

If you still have access to your original email address, you can get in your old account and download the entries!!! 🫢

So true! It also is funny how Xanga captured all the mundane banalities of life as well. The highlight reel was trending first, but in the past couple years (exacerbated by being inside circa 2020), it’s been interesting to see asinine content up for consumption too (e.g. GRWM)

I have archived all of my xanga and LJ years ago! Its so cathartic to go back and rereading it literally 20+ years later!

That is amazing!!! On one hand, it seems like a different person wrote it and on the other, it feels like it was just yesterday. I can't explain it!

I'm shocked that Photobucket doesn't have a data limit!!!!

Maybe it just had a limit that didn't disrupt the user experience like the platform I used before (which I don't remember at all!) I feel like it had to!
