Nicstalgia is a weekly newsletter about offbeat, obscure, and niche pop culture. It developed out of the Nicstalgia video podcast, the premier destination for deep conversations about superficial things. Whether it’s an esoteric deep-dive down a pop culture rabbit hole or an unexpected take on cyclical trends and nostalgia plays, the Nicstalgia newsletter explores pop cultural ephemera and phenomena that you either totally forgot about – or never stopped thinking about.

Who am I?

I’m Nicole Tremaglio, a writer who explores how pop culture, media, and technology impact identity. I’m also a brand strategist, fitness instructor, lifelong dancer, and physical media collector.

My professional background is in the fashion industry, opening dozens of stores across North America, training 400+ employees on brand & client experience, and launching innovative new programs, systems, tools, and technology. I love writing about retail, cyclical trend cycles, and consumer behavior, having sold $1M in handbags and spent about 17% of my life in a mall.
