• Website update: You can explore the archive of my 135 elliptical class themes on my new website. It will soon be complete with Spotify links, which I have never shared before (!!!!!!) so if you need songs for the gym – or truly anything – you can find it there. Playlisting is my passion!!!

• We have a new section today called Well, that’s my life! where I talk about something fun I was up to recently. It’s behind the paywall at the bottom. People tell me quite often I should have my own reality show – which I take as a compliment – so here it is.

My favorite things from the internet this week:

• Everyone romanticizes romcom journalists and misses front of book content (aka. the fun stuff) from 2000s magazines. Luckily, Nicstalgia is there to fill the void!!! Do you remember this cover/quiz from Nicstalgia’s 50th Episode in 2023?

• Lil Wayne songs to listen to when… “in nursing student handwriting” teleported me back to 2008 immediately.

• Most of my time online is spent researching and falling deep into Internet Archive and eBay rabbit holes, and sometimes I come across unhinged items I am completely enthralled by. Case in point: an Old Navy ‘croquette’ (a fried food, confused for the ‘coquette’ aesthetic) top and a $50 René Angélil Celebration of Life cookie. (Have you no shame?)

• This account that makes fake banners in the Philippines is so funny to me…Exhibits A and B: Avril Lavigne Alysa Liu and P!nk Pinkpantheres.

• This shirt is heinous, but imagine thrifting the top worn in my favorite Vine of all time? (A mashup of one hit wonder Magic’s 2013 weaksauce “Rude” with S2 KUWTK where Kim hits Khloe over the head with her handbag)

• The disappearance of colorful squishy pencil grippers in American schools directly correlates to fallen literacy rates. I’m a school store nepo baby (my mom was the buyer and I helped pick out which pencils and erasers we carried), so this crisis hits close to home.

• I love that Zooey Deschanel hates Crumbl cookies.
